Meet the Board

Hunter Davey
President

Hailing from Middletown, New Jersey, Hunter graduated Penn State in 2019 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Honors in Supply Chain Management. During his time at Penn State, Hunter served as a Lion Ambassador, where he was first exposed to the Alumni Association as he was tasked with organizing the University-Wide Senior Sendoff, an on-campus event that connects graduating seniors with representatives from their regional Alumni Association Chapters. Since moving to Baltimore, Hunter has enjoyed participating in over-competitive games of Trivia at Ma'Gerks, playing guitar at open mic nights, and of course, volunteering with the Baltimore Chapter.

Tara Balach
Vice President / Communications

Tara Balach is originally from Pittsburgh, PA.  She moved to Baltimore for work after graduating from Penn State in 2019 with a degree in biomedical engineering.  During her time there, she was involved in ski club, women in engineering program, and THON.  Now, she works as an equipment breakdown risk engineer for Chubb Insurance.  In Baltimore, Tara enjoys playing Volo City sports and going to Noble's for Penn State games.

Jessica Raskin
Director of Membership & Student Affairs 

Jessica is a 2019 Food Science graduate with a minor in International Agriculture. Originally from South Florida, she was drawn to Penn State by her alumni grandmother. While at PSU, Jess was a New Student Orientation Leader, a Resident Assistant in East, and involved in a professional agricultural sorority, Sigma Alpha. Some of her favorite memories include working in a Food Science Lab researching ice cream, and traveling to India and Italy with food science courses. She is currently a Technical Service Representative with Ingredion Inc.

Anthony Enger
​Director of Services & Professionalism 

Anthony graduated from Penn State in 2016 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Upon graduating, Anthony moved to Baltimore to work for the CoverGirl division of Procter & Gamble and currently enjoys hiking, sailing, and Volo City sports. Anthony is currently a project manager at AstraZeneca and an MBA student at Johns Hopkins University. 

Zach Lyons
THON Chair

Zach Lyons graduated from Penn State with a B.S in Labor Employment and Relations (L.E.R) in 2018. Originally from the greater Philadelphia area, Zach was able to spend a year in Wichita,KS as part of Textron Inc Human Resources Leadership Development Program before moving back to the Baltimore area to finish his time with the program and repatriate permanently to a role locally.  During his time at Penn State, Zach was involved with THON, through committees and organizations, Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity, and SHRM-SLER organization.  He also worked part time as a student-athlete tutor, mostly focusing on accounting.  Zach enjoys playing basketball, reading random facts, and traveling.

Michelle Buzelli
Alumni Council Liaison

Michelle graduated in 2019 from Penn State World Campus with a degree in Homeland Security. Her concentrations include Public Health and Hospital Administration preparedness. She has a BS from Duquesne University (2007), MS from Towson University (2011) and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (NCHEC) as well as a volunteer instructor for the American Red Cross. Michelle works for Clinical Associates, based out of Towson, as their population health analyst and program developer. She is currently serving her second term as VP of Programming and has been involved with the chapter since 2014. She has participated in alumni council leadership activities and liaises between the chapter and world campus students and organizations in Baltimore.​

Andrew Woodman
Secretary

Andrew is originally from Haverford Township in Delaware County (Delco) Pennsylvania. He graduated from Penn State in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelors and Smeal Certificate subsequently moving to Baltimore to work as a Territory Representative for Air Products & Chemicals. While an undergraduate Andrew was involved in Club Cross Country, UPUA and Pi Kappa Phi. Andrew first joined the board as an At-Large Member but eventually transitioned to the role of Secretary. Andrew's favorite chapter activities include fall game watches at Nobles and the annual alumni THON gala. In his free time Andrew enjoys skiing and running with a particular interest in training for marathons in the Baltimore-DC region. 

Jack Galaydick
Webmaster

Graduated in 2013 from University Park with a B.S. in Geography.  Jack moved to Baltimore after graduation and has worked at ERT, Inc (Environmental Scientist), US Census Bureau (GIS Analyst), and currently is working for the US Social Security Administration HQ as a Geospatial Analyst and certified Drone/UAV pilot within the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness.
